Form I-9 Verification Fees

Form I-9 verification fees are not statutory fees and are listed separately from Texas notary fees.

Form I-9: Verification Service (electronic – includes image uploads)    $45.00

This is a non-notarial contracted service for electronic verification of an employee Form I-9 (including identification credential image uploads). Roman Express serves as an authorized agent of the employer. (1) The agent receives an email from the employer with a link to their Form I-9 portal. (2) The agent meets the remote hire employee, physically examines the identification documents presented, ensuring the documents are acceptable in establishing both identity and employment authorization. (3) The agent records images of the identification credentials. (4) The agent returns to the office and accesses the employer portal, completing the Form I-9, Section 2 and uploads the identification images. A travel charge is additional.

Form I-9: Verification Service (paper)     $30.00

This is a non-notarial contracted service. Roman Express serves as an authorized agent of the employer. The agent (1) meets a remote hire employee to review Section One of their Form I-9 for completeness, (2) physically examines employee-provided identification documents, ensuring the documents are acceptable in establishing both identity and employment authorization, (3) completes Section Two of the Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification. Note: Unless otherwise instructed, the completed Form I-9 is returned to the employee. A travel charge is additional.

Form I-9: Employer – Secure email link – Completed Form I-9 (optional add-on service)    $15.00

Roman Express emails the employer a password-protected link to access and print a .pdf file containing the completed Form I-9, securely stored on the Adobe Document Cloud. The file will be permanently deleted, once accessed and printed.

Form I-9: Employer – Secure email – Identification credentials (optional add-on service)     $15.00

Roman Express emails the employer a password-protected link to access and print a .pdf file containing the employee’s identification document(s), securely stored on the Adobe Document Cloud. The file will be permanently deleted, once accessed and printed.

Form I-9: Document Package Drop Off Fee (optional add-on service)     $35.00

This fee is for delivery of completed document packages to either a UPS Store or FedEx Shipping Center for customer pre-paid overnight shipping.
